Parcel #3 – Black Oak Woods![]() Approximately 20 acres, this is big mature timber and fairly open woods. If feel it is best during October when the acorns are falling and it has some good scrape lines in November, but because there is not a lot of heavy brush it doesn’t hold many deer during the later part of the gun seasons. There are some very big ravines that influence travel patterns, and as always a permanent feeder will help to produce deer all season. As a hunting guide and outfitter, I am very proud of the fact that of all the clients, friends, and family members I have guided over the years, they ALL have either passed up shots, missed or harvested deer on my managed and protected properties. I have a 100% shooting opportunity record! I started guiding professionally in the late 80’s and as far as I know I was the 1st full time, professional native whitetail outfitter in Ohio. So not trying to blow my own horn, I feel the need to stress my track record as a way of saying I know what I am doing when managing property to produce deer. I know where to place stands to harvest those deer, and this knowledge and experience goes with these Parcels.
